More top places to enjoy a refreshing gin & tonic in Belfast

Gin is the drink of the moment, but where in Belfast is good for a gin and tonic or an inventive gin cocktail?

Muriel’s Bar

Now this one is hard to beat. Ask about gin in Belfast and the first place most people will say is Muriel’s, it just knows gin. Expect some great tips from the talented staff behind the bar who can dream up a serve you never imagined.

Sweet Afton

A relatively new addition to the social scene in Belfast, but like a few of their neighbours it would appear The Sweet Afton do a good gin (and gin cocktail if this picture is anything to go by).

The John Hewitt

A top haunt in Belfast and great for live music, but it also boasts and impressive gin list with the favourites as well as some more obscure ones mixed in.

The Woodworkers

Gin lovers, take in that menu – just perfect! Now The Woodworkers may specialise in beer but it also has over 30 great gins on offer too. So it’s the perfect place to go if your partner in crime is more of a pints kinda guy.

Molly’s Yard

Celebrating some great local gins, as well as our other favourites, it’s well worth a trip to popular eatery Molly’s Yard if you are in need of a good gin fix.

The Perch

Just imagine it, sipping a nice refreshing gin on a rooftop in Belfast – when the sun is shining of course. It sounds like bliss, and it could be your bliss if you head down to The Perch.

The Chelsea

Heading a little bit out of the city centre, why not pop into The Chelsea on the Lisburn Road and sample their delightful gins – worth the journey.

Another spot you just can’t go wrong with – Rita’s not only serves up a great selection of gins for a wee G&T, it also impresses on the gin cocktail front.
